COUNSELING AND ALUMNI RELATION (CARE) OFFICE

The Counseling and Alumni Relation (CARE) office is a special office established in 2008 under the auspices of Prof. Peter K. Kwapong’s administration to achieve students’ Academics and Social life welfare on campus and to strengthen the cordial relationship between Hall Management and members of the KNH Alumni Association.

In the area of counseling, the CARE Office provides counseling services for affiliates on: How To Study Effectively to get best classes, Time Management: Effective Time-table, Money Management, Healthy Living, Roommates issues, Personal Development, Extra Curricular Activities, Good interpersonal relationship with colleagues, lecturers, Junior Staff , Best Decisions about career: self-employment and many more.

The core mandates of the Office include but not limited to:

  1. Improving upon counseling in the Hall.

  2. Improving and strengthening Alumni Relations for the Hall.

  3. Improving upon the relationship between the students’ in the Diaspora and the Hall.

  4. Improving upon the Staff Fellowship.

  5. Gathering of information and helping with the maintenance of the Hall’s website.

  6. Seeking sponsorship for the Hall, in conjunction with the relevant authorities.

  7. Bringing up alternate source(s) of income for the Hall.

 

Ms. Evelyn Brenyah, the Professional Counselor’s office is on the first floor of Block-F, room 113 right before the CARE Office- F-Block 114 and is opened from 8:30am-6:00pm (Monday to Friday).

 

Remember, in the multitudes of counsel there is safety, so you are encouraged to see your counselor.
